A thriller with a thatcherian touch / Victoria Beckham and a strange girl

Two iconic items  from the 80´s were auctioned this week, the famous Asprey handbag that once belonged to former PM Margaret Thatcher was sold for 25000 sterling pounds instead of a predicted 100,000, and the legendary red and black leather jacket worn by Michael Jackson in his video Thriller fetched  a breathtaking $1,8 million. As Sadie loves fashion experiments, she has decided to create a look with both objects that  are quite antagonistic at simple view. Customizing the dull and mumsy bag was the biggest challenge. Sadie opted for dying it in brigth red and designing a geometric figure in the front. As the jacket is enough eye-catching, the rest of the outfit should be kept simple: black skinny jeans and red ballerinas.  As for the hairdo, Sadie went for a Jackson and Thatcher mix. I don´t think she´s very thrilled about the results...

Things that may happen to bloggers - Part I

Pretending to be a funny blogger without success or trying to be serious and ending up a clown, which is worse?
Sharing on your blog pictures of your pet that will become more famous than you.

Le geek c´est chic! Sadie, Claudia Schiffer & my granny

If I hadn´t undergone that expensive eye surgery, I could afford the latest Chanel glasses collection, now!
OK, Sadie doesn´t hardly resemble Claudia Schiffer , but I will tell you something, she bears a striking resemblance to my granny!

Get Lost!

You worked so hard on your blog to give the best of yourself to your followers and friends and the only comment you got was a cold and self-centered "Thank you for visiting my blog"...

Fashionerotic Magazine Covers

Suave erotismo, poca ropa, poses sugerentes,... Soft erotism, scantily clad girls, cheesecake style pics,... Some of the so-called glossy or fashion magazine covers could be also used to illustrate the front page of any publication aimed at men.  Both illustrations by Gen.

Ahora sé como deben sentirse las majas de Goya en El Prado..."/ "Gosh, an unwanted admirer is watching me from one of the hotel balconies. I realise now how Goya´s majas must feel at El Prado..."
"Get out of my way! I´m armed with a sharped high-heeled shoe! You can´t
take this fluorised green scarf from my hands! - Summer sales, the battle is about to start...again."
High temperatures at noon are almost unbearable. Fortunately I´m at the beach. Kids are crying around me. Are they sobbing because I almost ran over them to get the last ice cream that was left at the stall? Or are they simply scared of seeing how I´m wolfing it down?
Gen siendo devorada por mosquitos. / Gen being eaten alive by mosquitoes.
¡Qué bonito es el verano!   Summer is great!
Este solete tan sonriete me lo concede Kiss of the Blue Sky y yo lo paso a las cuatro primeras personas que han comentado este post:) Bss!

Jean Paul Gaultier News... and papers

Copying the latest fashion trends has never been so easy and cheap. Take as example yesterday´s Libération issue that was designed by Jean Paul Gaultier and whose highlights were the outfits made with newspapers. Libération journalists were delighted to become models for one day.

A Gernika t-shirt

She would dance barefoot in the park at dusk. She danced frantically as if there was no tomorrow. She had come to the big city to get a Summer job that would allow her to pay her tuition fees in her Polish university but all what Agnieska seemed to do was dancing and dancing while her friend worked as waitress. They were like the ant and the grasshopper. I can´t remember her names but I suppose that at least one of them was named Agnieska since most Polish girls I ´ve met are called like that. What I remember is her t-shirt that had the famous Picasso Gernika printed on it. "It´s  Picasso, isn´t it? - she asked and I told her a little about the meaning of the painting. She didn´t seem too impressed. As we went on talking about art, I said that there was an important exhibition, Tamara de Lempicka, in town. "It sounds Polish" - she said quite interested. "Yes, it is. She was born in Warsaw" Then, she looked at my sketch book and asked me if I could draw her "stupid face". I laughed and said that I would do it. But I never drew her portrait. I met Agnieska briefly and as it happens with people that come into your life and don´t stay for too long, I hardly remember anything about her, not even her name... Only her Gernika printed t-shirt has stayed in my mind. How many people out there might remember me just for a garment I wore on that moment... I hope it´s not that hideous golden rucksack I had!

Based on a true story, You know you´re skilfull when you are able to apply mask on your eyelashes with no mirror while walking fast through the tube station, avoiding to imitate the famous Buñuel´s "Un chien andalou" scene.
That reminds me that I haven´t read this book, yet

Anne Frank - A tribute

Anne Frank 12 June, 1929 - March 1945 / 12 de Junio de 1929 - Marzo 1945

Meninas Beauty - or Horror - Salon

¿Trendy Monkeys? Más bien Monkey Business para su propietaria... / Trendy Monkeys? It´s Monkey Business for the owner...
A beauty salon for little girls? Yes, it exists and we are not talking about a Barbie or Bratz toy or game but a real parlor that has just opened in Essex, UK, which caters for children up to 13. Its treatments include manicure, pedicure, make up, spray tanning, etc. Parents, Psyshologists and children rights campaigners have expressed their concern about the negative influence that it might have to kids since it gives children a complex about the way they look from an early age ( the youngest customer was just sixteen months old!). "It´s just harmless fun" says owner Michelle Devine, "Going to the salon would allow girls to exude confidence, glamour and the desire to look her best at all times, regardless of age." Ms. Devine adds.
These news came one day after we heard about the mother(?) that gave her seven-years-old daughter a voucher for a boob job. We hope the girl could exchange the voucher for a new brain for her mum!
